This exquisitely hand-carved eagle bracelet showcases an eagle in a frontal style and is crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The artist is inspired by old masters and tradition, which is reflected in his style of formline. Perfect for those who appreciate the beauty of fine craftsmanship, this bracelet is more than an accessory—it's a piece of wearable art that makes you feel as if an actual eagle is accompanying you throughout your day.

Eagles represent strength, wisdom and balance. They are stealth hunters, strong, fierce, and intelligent in their understanding of the world around them. Although their physical presence exudes strength and commands attention, they move with grace and precision. They also symbolize partnership, choosing one eagle to mate with for life, and using the same nest year after year. In Haida art, eagles are visually represented by their short and curved beaks, sometimes with wings, feathers and talons showing.

    About the Artist

Made by Haida Artist, Ding Hutchingson:

Born to the Raven Clan of Skedans, Haida Gwaii, Haida artist Ding Hutchingson learned to carve from his uncle, Chief of Skedans. His crests are the mountain goat, grizzly bear, two finned killer whale, and moon. Ding has been carving for more than 45 years. He has developed exquisite details, unique forms and expression of Haida designs. His pieces represent the best of Haida design and workmanship. Ding's work in metal is widely recognized for his use of negative space. By utilizing cutouts he is able to create beautiful silhouettes of Haida crests.
