We are hiring for a Retail Sales Associate with Digital Media or Online Marketing Skills at an established art gallery and jewelry store, Crystal Cabin Gallery, located in the coastal community of Tlell, Haida Gwaii.

We're looking to hire locally and understand that there are many hidden talents in our community. For this reason we have kept the job posting flexible in terms of skillset. This could be a full-time or part-time position. Let us know how many hours you're looking for. Preference will be given to a candidate looking for long term and meaningful employment on Haida Gwaii. 

Qualifications:

• Prior sales experience with proven success
• Experience in Digital Media Production, such as photography, videography, design, graphic design, interior design, product development or Digital Marketing, such as PR, blogging, copywriting, SEO, social media, website management, online paid advertising 
• Reliable transportation to Tlell

Roles & Responsibilities:

This position includes sales, Digital Media Production or Online Marketing, customer service, teamwork, as well as store set-up, maintaining & cleaning displays, pricing stock.

We are a local art gallery and jewelry store in Tlell, Haida Gwaii. We specialize in highlighting artwork and jewelry by Haida and northwest coast women artists. We also sell high quality crystals and minerals. In 2021, we started the Artists Tool Fund to purchase much needed tools for local artists.
