About the Artist
Carmen Goertzen is a self-taught artist and has been carving since the age of 11 years old. After being taught to make tools by Robert Davidson, Goertzen began carving jewellery professionally in silver and gold in 1984. Goertzen’s work is recognized for its deep carving and detailed cross-hatching.
