If you’re positive and energetic, have a flair for sales, can connect easily with people from all walks of life, and are proactive and motivated, we might have the perfect position for you. We are hiring for a Gallery Sales Lead at Crystal Cabin Gallery main location in Tlell.
Our ideal candidate will possess either 1+ years of sales experience or 1+ years of relevant industry involvement in jewelry, art, design, fashion, aesthetics, beauty, or luxury goods. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and driven, demonstrating a track record of sales success or excelling in customer-facing roles. A sharp memory and an innate talent for storytelling are crucial, coupled with the ability to engage anyone in conversation and maintain a positive, friendly demeanor while providing excellent customer service both in person and through various communication channels. We value responsibility, professionalism, punctuality, reliability, and a respectful and courteous personality.
Terms: Part-time or full-time, up to 30 hours per week. Must be available to work mid-May to mid-September, 2024 with additional opportunities for work all year round after the summer season. Starting from $26.25/hour. Must be available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, holidays, and during the music festival weekend.

Roles & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will consistently achieve and exceed monthly store sales goals through a motivated and driven approach, while also demonstrating a meticulous attention to detail. Manage gallery cleanliness, organization, and merchandising displays, ensuring each piece is memorized, and our brand story is effectively communicated to customers. Responsible for pricing, stock management, and maintaining supplies, with a keen focus on capturing customer information in a fast-paced environment and providing timely follow-up on sales, client requests, and custom orders.

We are a local art gallery and jewelry store in Tlell, Haida Gwaii. We specialize in highlighting artwork and jewelry by Haida and northwest coast artists. We also sell high quality crystals & minerals. In 2021 we started the Artists Tool Fund to purchase tools for local artists. Owned and operated locally since 1984, now run by the second generation.
