      Framing

      Ready for its new home, this limited edition art print by Reg Davidson ships for free to Canada & the USA. 

      This raven and the moon design was first hand-painted by Reg Davidson on a deer hide drum, and later released as a limited-edition print in 2025. Its circular shape reflects the original drum form and the shape of a full moon, while the neutral tan tones reference the natural colour of hide. The bold red and black elements of the raven reflect a classic northwest coast colour palette, brought together in the smooth contemporary formline shapes that Reg Davidson is known for.

      About the artist: Reg Davidson, Skil kaat’laas, of Old Masset, Haida Gwaii, BC (b. 1954) of Ts’aahl laanas Eagle Clan began his career as artist around 1969. A master Haida Artist recognized for his numerous and significant contributions to protecting and advancing Haida culture. He is known for producing significant traditional ceremonial objects such as masks, bentwood drums and dance regalia.
