Inspiration Behind Supernatural Beings: Can formline be woven? This question sparked Supernatural Beings, a powerful print by Robert Davidson. In his exploration of this topic, he spoke with several weavers. Some weavers were interested in trying, while others said it couldn't be done. These conversations led to the creation of Supernatural Beings, which is Davidson's rendition of integrating formline into the shape of a northwest coast woven robe or apron.
