Sgaas Sgwaansing Shyla Cross is born and raised in Skidegate, Haida Gwaii. While living away from home for school at UBC she makes a living by selling contemporary Haida jewelry and cedar weaving.
In her free time, she enjoys food and plant harvesting, visiting with family and friends, being on the beach and binge watching reality shows.
